Demonstration

     

 

    

1. A substance, which was later determined as crude oil, leaked from a crashed tanker truck on the highway. Rescue team quickly arrived to prevent environment disaster. This was good and efficient test to demonstrate the power and quality of SORBEUM®.

 

 

 

2. SORBEUM® is scattered over the contaminated area. After few seconds of adsorbing process the liquid is encapsulated in paste and the danger for environment is suppressed.

 

 

 

3. The "cake" made of SORBEUM® and adsorbated liquid is removed from the ground and placed in the special containers by bulldozer and shovels. No other danger is now threaten.

 

 

 

4. After the saving, the used SORBEUM with the adsorbated liquid is returned to the manufacturer. Approximately 80% of crude oil is being recovered from used SORBEUM®. Recovery is done by extraction in a centrifuge, but can be done also by applying pressure on the used adsorbent.

     

 

 

5. SORBEUM® can be returned to action with more than 80% of the original adsorption ability, or liquidated by burning in a boiler producing electricity (heating value as a coal).
 

 

6. Extracted crude oil can be sold to an oil refinery and it can be used for primary or secondary processing, depending on the level of contamination with other substances.
